Q&A

Alfie & Bernice engagement
When's the RSVP deadline?
As soon as possible! But please RSVP by 1st of February 2027 at the very latest so we can get a proper headcount.
Can I bring a guest?
Unfortunately due to number restrictions we can only accommodate those named on the invitations.
Are kids welcome?
As much as we adore your little ones, we will only be inviting the children of our immediate family, unless specified differently on the invitation.
I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
Please check the 'Where to Stay' section of the website for some ideas. There is no obligation to stay at the venue! Stay wherever suits your budget ♥
What's the weather going to be like?
It's Ireland, so make sure you're prepared for any weather! But keep your fingers and toes crossed for sunshine on the day!
Where can I park?
There's plenty of free parking on site.
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable! But we'd love to see everyone all suited and booted for our big day.
Is the wedding inside or outside?
Our ceremony will be outdoors (weather depending) but in case of rain, will be moved indoors. Everything else will be indoors also.
What sort of shoes should I wear (or avoid)?
Whatever you can dance the night away in!
Can we take photos on our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Absolutely! We'd love you to snap some photos and share them with us. We just ask that you don't take any during the ceremony itself, as we'd love to see your smiling faces and not your phone!
What time will the reception end?
This is Ireland... so it could go on 'till the early hours! Music will end at 2am, but there is the option to carry the party on in the residents bar.
Are the ceremony and reception venues wheelchair accessible?
Yes, but please contact Glenlo Abbey for more information.
Will food be served?
Of course! You will be provided with the options nearer the time.
Who should I contact if I have questions?
If you've got any questions, you can message either of us on:
Alfie: (+44)7932649519
Bernice: (+44)7896853787
