Getting There
Galway is easily accessible from either Shannon, Knock or Dublin airport.
There are plenty of ways to get to Galway city.
The easiest way is to rent a car — you can compare prices on Travel Supermarket or KAYAK. Public transport is also available.
Shannon Airport
Route: Direct coach (e.g. Bus Éireann Expressway route 51)
Journey time: 1 hour 40–50 minutes
Cost: €15–€22
Arrival point: Galway city centre (Ceannt Station / coach station)
Knock Airport
Operator: Bus Éireann (Route 64)
Journey time: 1 hour 30–40 minutes

Local taxis and buses are available to take you from the city centre to your chosen hotel.
Rest Your Head
To make planning easier, we're sharing a few hotels and B&Bs in and around Galway. Hotels in the area can book up fast, especially on weekends — if you plan to stay overnight, we recommend reserving your room early to lock in the rates while rooms are available. There's no obligation to stay at the venue, however, we do have a limited number of discounted rooms at Glenlo, so please reach out to let us know if you intend to stay at the venue!
